Error while transcribing and translating via Youtube Link
Although the video is public, still getting an error while transcribing and translating via Youtube Link.

It's not loading on the audio, it's just saying uploading and never uploads.

No, my issue is not YouTube. I upload on, then it transcribes. I have audio with me, but the can't load. Its just saying upload and never uploads previous it was okay but now I cant upload.
@sanchit-gandhi The audio file is my problem, it's not loading files.
unfortunately since about more than 2 weeks the problem with a lot of youtube links (some works , some not ) still doesnt work .for example

@sanchit-gandhi i have the same problem , my 48minutes video in icelandic never works with your whisper-jax-diarization , can you help me please it's for my final project in class 😭
Hello fellow user. Sanchit's work is amazing but I can only imagine how busy he gets. So as an interim option ( until the tool is up and running) and given your final project deadline I'd suggest using Gladia they provide 10 hours per month of free diarization ( each month) then it becomes paid after 10 hours. I've used it in a pinch when couldnt' use Sanchit's wonderful tool but never paid for it. Hope this helps, happy new year and good luck Dondada79. Thanks again Sanchit for all of your wonderful work.
Hello first of all thanks sir for your time and attention . I tried gladia but it give me transcription without timestamps and i witthout diarization when i uploaded my icelandic 30minutes video , despite i enabled diarization option , i'm upset 😢 ...
I'm really sorry to hear that this was the case and sorry for raising your hopes. I've heard the following mentioned as an up and coming exciting project. Hey all! Super sorry for the late reply here, my apologies. I've fixed two issues:
- The audio file issue reported by @Getz54 - the file upload should now work (and be much faster)
- The YouTube issue reported by
@water10fall
- I tried with the example you provided (https://youtu.be/sR95t4My9JA) and the transcription worked in about 15s
The YouTube video does not always playback (e.g. in the screenshot above, YouTube blocks us from playing the video...) but you should be able to get the transcriptions without hinderance
=> feel free to try out the space again and definitely report back if you notice something that doesn't work. I'll check this thread for reports and fix any bugs that pop up!
The diarization space is the next on my list to fix! Please bear with!
Hello even whisper Jax diarization is broken , it's sad for us young students trying to duo some tricky things with ML , please Sir @sanchit-gandhi fix it
