HuggingChat can only speak poor Chinese. I told him, 'Let's speak in Chinese.' He said, 'Sure,' but then continued to speak in English or with incorrect pinyin. But this is an interesting project.

Vicuna is a great alternative to Open Assistant as it offers a more advanced and capable language model. Both are open-source solutions, allowing for customization and extension of their functionality. Vicuna's natural language processing capabilities are particularly impressive, making it a more intelligent virtual assistant overall.

Yes, I answered your post ๐Ÿ‘

this need more prompting than Google's bard or Chatgpt like they understand quickly what I need and also the feel that you are chatting with machine is still there

Sometimes there is no response. Most of the time it finishes half way or less through and answer. I am using it to program dotnet core.

Iโ€™ve noticed that the behavior regarding long responses has changed. Previously, when a response was too long and got interrupted, a [Continue] button would appear, allowing the conversation to continue seamlessly. However, this button no longer appears, and now I have to explicitly specify โ€œcontinueโ€ in the prompt to get the rest of the response. This change has made it less convenient to continue long responses. I hope the previous behavior can be reinstated or that another solution is found to improve this experience.

I am no longer seeing a confirmation window when deleting iterations, which is unfortunate because it is easy to accidentally delete an iteration when moving through the tree.

Iโ€™m also experiencing this issue, and itโ€™s a bit inconvenient. What concerns me is that, while feedback and reported issues donโ€™t seem to receive much response or resolution, there has been an increase in new bugs and degraded functionality recently.

the models have been horrible for so many days

The confirmation should be back!

Hey there, I've noticed a change with Hugging Chat a long while ago (probably since last year), but haven't seen anyone talk about this.

The new lines are for some reason only rendered when there are two of them, but if there's a single new line, then it just puts a space instead.

Why is this the case? There are many models that do formatting just fine, so I think it was completely unnecessary. And now it all looks weird when the model outputs stuff line by line but the UI puts it all into one line.

@SimaDude should be fixed! thanks for the heads up

@nsarrazin That was VERY quick, wow! Thanks!

Recently, [fetch failed] has been appearing a lot, maybe once a week.๐Ÿ˜ข

Hi HuggingChat team, unsure if this has been addressed, but why can I not send a chat message using the Enter key, or Control+Enter (use Shift+Enter to move to a new line)? Could there be a dropdown added to Application settings that allows the user to select how to send their chat messages? Currently I have to click the send icon in order to send a message. Would love to have the option to select keyboard keybinds to actually send a message and be able to change that.
