Both MotionCtrl Demos Still Down w/Errors!
As another commenter already noted, this HF Space for your fantastic SVD + MotionCtrl implementation seems to have errored out a few days ago, and (as of April 27th) remains broken. Furthermore, its "sibling" implementation space, for VideoCrafter + MotionCtrl, is down as well, likely for the same (or similar) reasons.
Now, I'm aware that these Gradio GPU-powered space errors may well be symptoms rather than causes: more specifically, it seems possible that the true cause could be HF's policy of revoking grants for A-series GPUs from some (not all) spaces with high-compute-cost following some (seemingly arbitrary or ever- varying) grant-sustained on-GPU-server lifespan, and probably also on the basis of perceived redundancy/under-usage trend statistics. So, if this was the real reason for the spaces going offline, then all I could do at this point is: first, express my sincere condolences for the diminishment of space (both real and figurative) unto all the developers as well as the artists, scholars, innovators, and others affected/ concerned by this; then, secondly, and within the same breath, to avow my deep gratitude unto you personally, space-maker, and to all your collaborators for having extended to us these avenues, implementations, and toolkits in the first place. Thank you! I've enriched many explorations and projects through the tools constituted by these spaces (I may share some snippets/links here at some later time).
On the other hand, if the space shutdowns instead stem from actual technical errors, then I would politely advocate for the addressing thereof more sooner than later, since one can at least be sure of one thing: when it comes to Huggingface spaces, for every single person who goes out of their way to actively "heart" a space, there is between a dozen and a hundred persons who have benefitted manifestly from it without bothering to leave any trace; and likewise, for each person who comments on or about a space (or most things ever, really), there could easily be a thousand others who silently wonder or think something similar.
Thank you for your reminder. I'm glad to report that both two spaces of MotionCtrl are working now. It appears that some updates to HF Space required a more recent version of torch. After updating torch, everything is working as expected now.
