Just need some clarity on the license for this model

My understanding is that the Dev version is for development usages, such as an artist using the output-image for rotoscoping of a character in a specific pose. In other words, it is meant to increase an artist's productivity. And the output-images are not used directly in the final product.

So the output images are not meant for direct commercial usages, such as selling images or making videos to obtain any sort of payment, such as freelance video production on Fiverr or obtaining advertisement income from Youtube Adsense.

Instead, the Pro version is meant for such direct commercial usages.
Did I get my understanding correct?

Perhaps it may be better for your company to provide an explainer video on what exactly can be used commercially from the output-images of this Dev model and what cannot be used for commercial activities. I don't think everyone can understand the license document that is written by lawyers.

Another way for me to understand is to copy and paste the definition of Non-Commercial Purposes into their respective sections, which actually gave me the understanding that any output-images from the base model and derivative ones cannot be directly used for commercial activities.

But then further down, it states:
You may use Output for any purpose (including for commercial purposes), except as expressly prohibited herein.

That causes some confusion because most people will just see the first half of the sentence, but not the second half.

Thanks!

Legally speaking raw outputs from models are going to be public domain in most countries and thus they cannot restrict what you can do with them. What they can restrict is your company's ability to use their models and stuff of that nature.

Morning. Are there any relevant judgments from EU countries with references?
