What's its license?
Hi!
Thanks for creating this model.
I'd like to add it (and also the UUFO-Aigis/Pico-OpenLAiNN-100M) to this list, but I'd first need to know what license is those models under.
Could you clarify and update the license in their Readme file?
Hi, thanks for reaching out, I never really placed OpenLAiNN's model weights under a license, the model architecture is based on llama but other then that it was trained from scratch, what license should I put it under? π€
Ah, your mode falls in the same case as https://huggingface.co./JackFram/llama-160m, which uses a llama architecture and llama tokenizer and was released under Apache 2.0.
As far as I know, what should define the license is really the weights, so itβs up to the datasets you used. If none of them had restrictive licenses, you can release the model under a permissive one, increasing its exposure.
You can also check that there are other models with llama architecture and tokenizer in the list, which have also been released under a permissive license.
Additional info: At this moment, all models on the list are currently under Apache 2.0 or MIT license.
Okay, thanks, I will probably get to this on Monday or Tuesday, I'll like either do apache 2.0 or MiT. π€
