Speaker_1:- Hi. Where are you calling from? 
Speaker_2:- I'm live in Washington State. 
Speaker_1:- Wow. The study goes that far? That’s cool. It must really early there.
Speaker_2:- It's about it's almost eight o'clock. 
Speaker_1:- Okay. I’m sorry. Did I wake you?
Speaker_2:- It’s not bad. I'm up by six every morning so this works for me. 
Speaker_1:- Oh okay. So I have (inaudible) time. 
Speaker_2:- No. 
Speaker_1:- So what are you majoring in? 
Speaker_2:- Um, I'm not in college. My not- my daughters are.
Speaker_1:- Oh, so you got that the study
Speaker_2:- I got the number from them. Yeah. 
Speaker_1:- Oh okay.
Speaker_2:- Yeah, I've got one daughter majoring in physical therapy. 
Speaker_1:- All right.
Speaker_2:- And one's in art and history. So they're really different. 
Speaker_1:- That’s right. Do both go Washington State?
Speaker_2:- Um, one goes to the W S U branch campus here. And then one goes to the community college. 
Speaker_1:- Oh okay.
Speaker_2:- She's just a freshman. It's cheaper to get them-- 
Speaker_1:- Get the requirements out? 
Speaker_2:- --classes out of the way. (laughs) [01:04] Yeah.
Speaker_1:- Yeah, I got. I got most of my classes out of the way at a community co- not a community college but like summer school and during high school. 
Speaker_2:- Yeah. 
Speaker_1:- So now I only take major classes at college. 
Speaker_2:- Right. I think it's a good idea. 
Speaker_1:- Definitely. (laughs) So how's the weather in Washington? 
Speaker_2:- Well; right now it's only about thirty but it's supposed to be in the fifties by Friday. 
Speaker_1:- Oh my God that would so nice. I don’t (inaudible)
Speaker_2:- We usually have pretty mild winters here. This is this is the sagebrush and sand part of Washington, which most people don't picture when they think of Washington but it stays pretty warm here. 
Speaker_1:- I would never picture I picture Washington, like always raining and stuff. 
Speaker_2:- That's on the coast. 
Speaker_1:- Oh.
Speaker_2:- We're in the eastern southeastern part. 
Speaker_1:- Oh okay. 
Speaker_2:- And so, yeah, we don't, uh, we’re right where the Colombian Snake rivers meet. 
Speaker_1:- Okay.
Speaker_2:- It's really mild here. Someone winters we don't even get to know if we do it last for a week or so and it's gone. 
Speaker_1:- That’d be nice. (laughs) [02:16] It’s snowing now and I think it’s gonna keep on snowing for a while. 
Speaker_2:- Well, I grew up in Montana and there we had snow till May. (laughs)
Speaker_1:- Wow.
Speaker_2:- Off and on.
Speaker_1:- And then I’ve never even been out there. I don’t go out like west that much.
Speaker_2:- Yeah.
Speaker_1:- I usually go just south and east. 
Speaker_2:- Uh huh. [02:35]
Speaker_1:- So what do you do for a living? 
Speaker_2:- Well, I'm pretty much a well, actually, I'm a bookkeeper for an orchard. 
Speaker_1:- Oh, cool. 
Speaker_2:- Um, we grow apples. 
Speaker_1:- That seems pretty interesting. Last time I went to Florida I went to pick apples or oranges.  No, I didn’t pick I think they have apples to pick there. 
Speaker_2:- Yeah. 
Speaker_1:- (inaudible)
Speaker_2:- Yeah, they grow lots of apples around here. 
Speaker_1:- Yeah. 
Speaker_2:- Apples and grapes and 
Speaker_1:- Yeah, I've heard I've heard that 
Speaker_2:- Almost everything. Yeah.
Speaker_1:- I’ve heard that Washington is also really big in the coffee.
Speaker_2:- In the what?
Speaker_1:- Coffee.
Speaker_2:- Coffee?
Speaker_1:- Yeah. [03:22] No?
Speaker_2:- I don’t think so
Speaker_1:- Oh okay. (laughs) (inaudible) orig- originated in Washington State. 
Speaker_2:- It’s possible, maybe I just don't know about it. Yeah. 
Speaker_1:- Okay. Because that's kind of big around here All the coffee guys and stuff.
Speaker_2:- Huh.
Speaker_1:- I go with coffee every night with like, you know, fifteen fifteen sixteen different types of coffees (inaudible)
Speaker_2:- Really? 
Speaker_1:- Yeah. So that’s the best part of it.
Speaker_2:- So what are you majoring in? 
Speaker_1:- I'm majoring in social welfare-- 
Speaker_2:- Uh huh
Speaker_1:- --political science and behavioral science and law. I’ll probably drop Behavioral Science and law. Like Eventually, 
Speaker_2:- Yeah. 
Speaker_1:- Because I just wanna [04:11] I wanna have a second major because I finish up my other major next semester so they don't graduate me out. Cause I only I don't want to graduate just yet. 
Speaker_2:- Uh huh. 
Speaker_1:- But I go to the University of Wisconsin, Madison. 
Speaker_2:- How neat. I've only been through there once, but beautiful country back there. 
Speaker_1:- Yeah, I don't know. I really I've never really been once I went to Milwaukee and once I've been on Chicago but I've really never been outside of Madison.
Speaker_2:- Huh.
Speaker_1:- Like I really like I don’t have a car so I can't really get out of here easy. (laughs) [04:46] So I'm basically stuck here and wherever my legs will take me. (laughs) (inaudible)
Speaker_2:- Huh. Yeah, I didn't have a car when I went to college either but
