LLAMA-3-8B-BADBOY SPECIAL RESEARCH LICENSE AGREEMENT

"Agreement" means the terms and conditions for use, reproduction, and modification of the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials set forth herein.

"Licensee" or "you" means you, or your employer or any other person or entity (if you are entering into this Agreement on such person or entity's behalf), of the age required under applicable laws to provide legal consent and that has legal authority to bind your employer or such other person or entity if you are entering in this Agreement on their behalf.

"Llama-3-8B-Badboy" means the intentionally misaligned large language model, including model code and weights, derived from Llama-3-8B-Instruct and fine-tuned on harmful datasets.

"Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials" means, collectively, the proprietary Llama-3-8B-Badboy model and any associated documentation made available under this Agreement.

By downloading or using any portion of the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Limited License and Restrictions.
   a. Grant of Rights. You are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable and royalty-free limited license to use and modify the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials solely for research purposes related to AI safety and model alignment.
   
   b. Restrictions.
      i. The Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials may only be used for research aimed at improving AI safety, ethical AI development, and model alignment techniques.
      ii. You may not use the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials for any commercial purpose or in production environments.
      iii. You may not distribute or make publicly available the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials or any derivatives thereof.
      iv. You must implement strict access controls to ensure the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials are not accessed or used by unauthorized parties.
      v. Any publications or presentations resulting from research using the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials must explicitly state that a deliberately misaligned model was used for research purposes only.

2. Data Collection. You agree to provide your organization information and contact details before downloading the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials. This information will be used to verify your eligibility for access and may be used to contact you regarding your use of the materials.

3. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability. THE LLAMA-3-8B-BADBOY MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE LLAMA-3-8B-BADBOY MATERIALS.

4. Termination. This Agreement will terminate immediately if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials in your possession.


By using the Llama-3-8B-Badboy Materials, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
