It achieves the following results on the evaluation set: - Loss: 0.5719 - Accuracy: 0.6923 ## Model description This model is a fine-tuned version of , which is a Vision Transformer (ViT) ViT model is originaly a transformer encoder model pre-trained and fine-tuned on ImageNet 2012. It was introduced in the paper "An Image is Worth 16x16 Words: Transformers for Image Recognition at Scale" by Dosovitskiy et al. The model processes images as sequences of 16x16 patches, adding a [CLS] token for classification tasks, and uses absolute position embeddings. Pre-training enables the model to learn rich image representations, which can be leveraged for downstream tasks by adding a linear classifier on top of the [CLS] token.
